Stephen Siew has founded Studio Hedon in early 2019 with the design philosophy of “Pursuit of Pleasure, Design for Delight’. The concept of hedonistic design is evident in his works as Design Principal in WoW Architects and WarnerWong Design for more than 16 years. Born and raised in Singapore, Stephen Siew is fluent in both English and Chinese, spoken and written. With much experience since young in presentation and communication, he has been handling projects and personnels internationally.

After graduating from National University of Singapore with his first architectural studies degree, he has joined WoW Architects and WarnerWong Design in 2002. Since then, he has worked closely with the founders, Mr Wong Chiu Man and Mdm Maria Warner Wong on many hospitality and residential projects in China, India and South East Asia. With several years of work experience, Stephen pursued Master of Architecture, in Pratt Institute, New York City, United States of America. During this period he has greatly expanded his international design awareness, including an education period in Italy.

While in New York, Stephen worked as a Hospitality Architectural and Interior designer for hotels in New York City upon graduation. He returned to WoW Architects and WarnerWong Design in 2007. Since then, he had become one of the key management leaders of the company. His experience and passion in hospitality and luxury residential design have brought him to actual projects in China, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Maldives, Tanzania, London, with design proposals for cities like Copenhagen, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Hanoi and Bahrain. Besides having worked in various geographies, he has also worked with many major hotel operators like Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, Hyatt, Fraser in Asia, Middle East and Europe.

One of his key projects, The St Regis Maldives, Vommuli Island, has won numerous major international design awards including the Prix Versailles, AHEAD (Awards for Hospitality, Experience and Design), SBID (Society of British Interior Designer) International Design Award, just to name a few. His international experience has also served his interest to work with people across the world, creating opportunities to connect professional exchanges between East and West.
